SPRINGDALE (KFSM) -- The Washington County prosecutor ruled Tuesday (Oct. 18) that two Springdale police officers were justified in shooting a man on a scooter who had shot at them.
Sergeant Josh Kirmer and Patrolman Roger Eubanks shot and killed Zachary Sutton, 26, of Springdale Oct. 4 near the intersection of Turner Street and Gates Avenue, according to investigators.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated the officers' use of force and turned their findings over to Prosecutor Matt Durrett, who found the officers were justified in their actions and no criminal charges were warranted.
