MULDROW (KFSM)- A Muldrow police officer was sent to the hospital Sunday (March 22) after pursuing a vehicle who was speeding, according to the department.
According to the department Cpl. Brad Roberts flipped his vehicle while taking the Muldrow exit ramp along Interstate 40.
"I met a vehicle that was traveling about 94 mph," Roberts said. "Just thankful to to be here just short of a miracle."
The department said Roberts was not injured.
Police said Dillon Holder was driving and helped Roberts get out of the crashed unit.
"One of the first communications we had he said he had a window breaker," Holder said. "He handed it to me through the window, smack smack, took me two times."
The vehicle that was speeding got away according to the department.
