WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – A local couple was arrested by the FBI on Saturday (June 18) on several gun and drug related charges.

Alan Crawford and Daphne Crawford of Muldrow, Okla., are being held in the Washington County Detention Center on charges of Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Possession of Controlled Substance.

The couple is considered flight risk and a threat to the general public, because they have no ties to the Northwest Arkansas area, according to an arrest report. They have ties to Oklahoma, Maryland and northern Africa.

The couple was arrested on Saturday in Fayetteville following an hours long search that started on Friday (June 17). They were wanted by law enforcement after firearms and drugs were found inside a hotel room they were staying in, according to the report.

Officers executed a search warrant on the room at the Value Place located at 2638 W. Old Farmington Road in Fayetteville on Thursday (June 16) . Several firearms were found inside the room including three pistols, three AR-15 assault rifles, a 12 gauge shotgun and three handguns, the report states.

Several fully loaded AR-15 magazines, 300 rounds of blackout ammunition, and two ammo cans containing more than 2000 rounds of assorted ammunition were also located inside the room, according to the report.

Alan and Daphne Crawford are being held in jail without bond. Both of them are scheduled to appear in court on Monday (June 20).
