Local officers carried out a drug bust at a Fayetteville home Tuesday night while two small children were in the home.

Eulalio Camacho, 35, was arrested on suspicion of several drug charges and endangering the welfare of minors following a drug bust at his home at 4388 W. Beaver Lane. Members of the local Drug Task Force obtained a search warrant and entered Camacho’s home, according to a preliminary report from the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Desiree Bassett, 24, was also with Camacho at the time of the raid. She was arrested on suspicion of similar drug charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. She was released Wednesday from the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond.

During the search, officers found two small children—one was two years old while the other was five months old. A further search of the home revealed 1,207 grams of marijuana, 30 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash and a crushed Adderall pill, according to the preliminary report.

The older child was placed in state Department of Human Services custody, while the younger child went with its mother, the report states.

Camacho remained Wednesday in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
