Golf fans should be looking forward to watching the LPGA golfers this week at the Pinnacle Hills Country Club.

Former Razorback and pro golfer Stacy Lewis will be returning to her home turf to play in the tournament. Lewis is currently ranked first in the world.

Ryann Hartley went to the University of Arkansas and she is excited to watch her favorite professional golfer play this weekend.

"It's exciting to see girls like her and Michelle Wie and Yang and all those girls come to our backyard and play," Hartley said, "And it's exciting to get out there and watch them.”

Savannah Snow has been playing golf for a few years. She said when she was in high school, there weren't opportunities for girls to play golf. She said she's hoping the LPGA exposure will change the perception of women playing the sport.

"It’s getting a lot more popular than it used to be," Snow said, "And I think a lot more people are getting into it, especially young girls...they just need to try and need to know that women can play as well as men."

The LPGA tour stops in Northwest Arkansas to play Friday through Sunday in Rogers. For fans wanting to get in on the action, there will be a shuttle service from the John Q. Hammons Center taking spectators to and from the course starting Tuesday.
