GRAVETTE, Ark. (KFSM) — Gravette's high school basketball, baseball and softball teams are taking the opportunity to give back to the community after recent severe storms.
The teams canceled practice to help residents clean up after last night's storms.
They used this time to help community members that may have fallen limbs or debris in their yards.
"Gravette is a tight nit community and it's a big community when you talk about all the way from Maysville to Hiwasse to Bella Vista. We just want to give back and show the community that we are here to help them when they are in need. Just like when they come to support us on Tuesdays and Fridays," said Gravette basketball coach Matt Busch.
The teams have helped around 20 families in surrounding communities.
