BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – Four suspects were arrested in Bentonville on suspicion of gang-related charges after an aggravated robbery, according to the Bentonville Police Department.

On Monday (April 27) at 6:36 a.m., officers were sent apartments at 4501 SW Brooklyn Ave. in response to a robbery investigation. Three victims were robbed by three suspects wielding guns around 4 a.m., according to police.

One of the victims said he woke up at 4 a.m. to see a pistol in his face, according to an arrest report. The suspect holding the gun told the victim to get up and give him “everything” he had, police said. The victim gave the gunman a wallet that later turned out to be empty, and the gunman then demanded the victim show him where all the money was stashed in the apartment, according to authorities.

The victim eventually recognized the gunman as  Jameson S. Rogers, 18, police said. Rogers was with two other underage males; all three were wearing bandannas, according to the report. One of the other suspects wearing a bandanna also had a gun pointed at Rogers during the incident, police said.

According to the report, the victim and his two roommates were taken into the living room at gunpoint. All wallets in the apartment were taken, according to authorities.

Police said Rogers and his two partners began to get angry with the victims who lived in the apartment, accusing them of lying and having more “stuff” hidden nearby. Throughout the robbery, Rogers and his two partners threatened to kill the victims, according to authorities.

The arrest report states that the robbers said they’d be back at 8 a.m., and the victims had better turn over $800 to them. One of the robbers took an Xbox 360 as “collateral,” police said.

The victims called the Bentonville Police Department after the incident and gave them descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle, according to authorities. The victims also told police that one of the robbers had taken a bottle of 7Up from their fridge, the report states.

The three gunman left the victims’ apartment and picked up a fourth individual identified as Jamari Wallace, 18, police said. The four of them then went to Taco Bell and got breakfast with money they stole from the victims, according to the report.

After getting breakfast, the four went back toward the victims’ apartment (Wallace said he fell asleep after eating but knew the group was going back to get more money from the victims), police said.

Authorities stopped the vehicle when it returned to the parking lot of the apartments and ordered everyone to get out, the report states.

Wallace woke up and was also ordered out of the vehicle, according to police. The report states that a 7Up bottle similar to the one reported stolen from the victims’ fridge was found in Rogers’ vehicle. Multiple firearms and drugs were also found after the four suspects were ordered to get out of the vehicle, police said.

Wallace, Rogers and the two minors were all taken into custody and face the following charges:

  • Wallace – First-degree engaging/continuing criminal gang, organization or enterprise, aggravated robbery, theft by receiving, possession of drug paraphernalia and more.
  • Rogers – First-degree engaging/continuing criminal gang, organization or enterprise, aggravated robbery, first-degree terroristic threatening and more.
  • The two minors are not being identified because they’re under the age of 18, but they also face charges of first-degree engaging/continuing criminal gang, organization or enterprise, aggravated assault and more.

Wallace and Rogers each have a court date scheduled for June 8, according to jail records. Wallace had a bond set at $50,000 and Rogers’ bond was set at $75,000, those same records state.
