Saturday marks the last day of the Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair at Kay Rodgers Park in Fort Smith.

To make sure plenty of people came out for the last day, the fair celebrated Unlimited Ride Arm Band Day until 6 p.m. Armbands cost $24.

Hundreds and hundreds of people headed out to take a spin around on all of the different rides.

“You just feel like you’re going to lose your stomach for a second,” said one fair-goer after stepping off a ride.

“You’re just kind of waiting. You’re going up and you’re going up…and you know when it’s about to drop because you just hear that ‘click, click’. And then after that, it’s just a straight drop,” she explained.

The Arkansas-Oklahoma State Fair has been in Fort Smith for eight days. Whether you were there for the rides, or there for the food, Saturday was your chance for the year.

The fun wraps up with an Antique Tractor Pull and Monster Truck Show all kicking off tonight around 7.
