For Cox viewers who cannot get the 5NEWS audio feed, here’s how to fix the problem:
On small NON-DVR boxes
- Press the blue menu button near the top of the remote (button also says COX)
- Go to Settings
- Language Options
- Audio Language
- Choose “Primary”
On most DVR boxes
- Press the “Menu” button on the remote two times. This should open the “General Settings” menu
- Language
- Audio
- Choose “Primary”
For COX CONTOUR boxes (instructions from COX website)
- Press the Settings button on the remote
- Highlight Audio and Video
- Audio Settings
- Audio Language
- Choose “Primary”
