The Paris Elementary School held its third annual career fair for students in second through fourth grades on Thursday (March 13), according to Tonya Varnell, Director of Communications & PR for the Paris School District.
The event was organized by the school counselor, Sara Davis.
The goal of the fair was to expose students to a variety of jobs and give them the opportunity to ask questions about jobs that interest them.
More than twenty community members and business owners were on hand at the event to represent their respective careers. The community members were available to answer the questions of curious students.
Davis said, “It’s never too early for students to start thinking about their futures!”
