LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) – According to Lt. Sidney Allen of the Little Rock Police Department, a boxing champ faces assault charges as the result of an incident at Wright Ave. and Wolfe St. on Monday afternoon.
Jermain Taylor was taken to the Little Rock police detective office to be interviewed for discharging a firearm, Allen said.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, and investigators are still sorting out information by interviewing victims and witnesses.
Taylor faces five counts of aggravated assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of marijuana.
