BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – An arrest was made in a Benton County meth case on Jan. 9, in which, deputies found drugs, guns and money, according to a news release.

He faces charges of simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver-methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver-schedule and more, the release states.

On Jan. 9, deputies with the Benton County Narcotics Unit (with officers from the Siloam Springs Police Department) executed a search warrant at 2270 Dawn Hill Road in Siloam Springs, authorities said. The residence belongs to Scism, according to the release.

Deputies said they found a total of 29 grams of meth, 11 different types of controlled pills, pot, three guns and $1,004. A stolen revolver from the Phoenix Police Department was also found in Scism’s home, according to authorities.

Scism was taken into custody after the search was conducted, deputies said. He was later released from jail on a $20,000 bond on Jan. 11, the release states.

His next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 17 at 8 a.m. in Division One Benton County Circuit Court, authorities said.
