COVID-19 in Ohio: 6,882 new cases reported on Wednesday

The Ohio Department of Health has now reported a total of 1,365,800 cases in the state.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Health reported 6,882 new cases of COVID-19 and 346 new hospitalizations on Wednesday.

Reported data as of September 22: 

  • 1,365,800 cases
  • 21,596 deaths
  • 71,001 hospitalizations
  • 1,209,460 presumed recoveries as of Tuesday
  • 6,254,196 Ohioans (53.50%) have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
