Local cupcake business closing stores in Fayetteville, Rogers today

The locally-owned bakery will be closing two of its stores in NWA today.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — After opening its doors almost 14 years ago, Bliss Cupcake Cafe has announced the closing of its Fayetteville and Rogers locations on May 25.

The Harris Family, owners of the business, posted on Facebook about the closing giving customers a chance to indulge in their sweets one last time before they closed.

"We are so thankful for a community that has supported our little cupcake shop for 14 years. We are incredibly grateful for all the employees who have baked or served cupcakes, macarons, Bliss for Pups, cookie sandwiches, and so many more delectable Bliss creations over the years," the post says.

The bakery boasts over 50 recipes for their treats including cupcakes, macarons, cookies, and cupcakes in a jar, which can be shipped to your home.

Their Fort Smith and Jonesboro locations will remain open.
