Advocates for Public Transit will be holding the Freedom Ride Rally Tuesday afternoon in Fayetteville, in support of the vote for a quarter cent sales tax on the May 22 ballots.
Members will explain how mass transit and public transportation supports economic development.
Money from the tax would be used to expand the Ozark Regional Transit System in Washington County.
Supporters and Volunteers will ride Ozark Regional Transit buses arriving at the Northwest Arkansas Mall during the event, starting at 12:30 p.m.
