Here at VERIFY, we’re determined to help bring you clarity and truth to all the misinformation you see online. Whether you’re on the go or at your computer, there’s a couple different ways you can get in touch with us.
WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
SEND US A VIDEO:
Our VERIFY reports air on news stations across the country. They’re also published to verifythis.com and shared across our social media channels.
One of our missions at VERIFY is to answer your questions directly. We take those questions straight to sources to find the answers.
To ask us a question in video form, which we can feature on-air and on social media, send us a selfie video with the following (cellphone video is fine):
- Your name (first will do!) and where you’re asking your question (ex: Jane Doe, North Carolina)
- If you need help on how to start, here’s a suggestion. Start with your name, where you’re asking your question, and then “Hey VERIFY, I want to know:____”
- We ask you to please film your video horizontally (landscape style.) It doesn’t need to be anything fancy, but try to film in a quieter area so we can hear you.
- Email your video to email@example.com and voila! We’ll chat with you from there if we use your question and will also send you a link to the story once it’s aired.

You can also include photos or screenshots in your messages if you need to show a specific article or social media post you saw. Links are also helpful.
ON SOCIAL MEDIA:
Most of the misinformation our viewers see is found across their social media platforms. You can direct message us on any of our social media accounts to pass along misinformation you see or ask us a question.
You can also watch us on Snapchat, where we have weekly polls to help you decide what we should cover next.
