February 20th-24th is Severe Weather Awareness Week in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. March 1st is the beginning of meteorological spring and this is the time of year when we see the most severe weather and tornadoes in our area. 67% of all tornadoes in our area occur in March, April and May.
After a nice afternoon with the return of sunshine, clouds will roll back in Monday afternoon ahead of our next storm system. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible Monday late afternoon and evening.
