A Fort Smith woman was arrested today for allegedly transporting underage girls for sex.
39-year-old Joy Trotter is facing a charge of Promoting Prostitution, 1st Degree. Police made the arrest after a lengthy investigation, and found that one of the underage girls was actually Trotter's 14-year-old relative.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police say more charges will likely be filed. Trotter is being held in the Sebastian County jail without bond.
