The Fayetteville Farmer's Market opened for business today.
For the 36th year, over 60 vendors set up on the downtown square this morning to sell fresh plants, herbs, house plants, perennials and unique handmade items.
Market Manager James Phillips says the Farmer's Market is a special event for the community because everything is local.
"Everything is local. Every vendor here has to come from the 4 county region of Northwest Arkansas. Basically the money you spend goes right back here. It goes back into the community."
The Farmer's Market will now be open through November 21st every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Fayetteville Square and the Mill District.
