University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences on Friday dedicated its 12-story expansion to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Little Rock.
The 300,000-SF building will double the institute's capacity for research, treatment and outreach. UAMS said its design, which includes lots of natural light, balconies and a garden, is intended to promote a comfortable environment for patients, while also promoting collaboration between clinicians and researchers.
