Cox Cable Customers
If you are a subscriber to Cox Cable and have a Cox issued cable box or DVR, tune to channel 661. If you do not have a Cox cable box or DVR, you can still receive My5.2 if you have a newer digital TV with a QAM tuner (check the instruction manual for your TV). If you have a digital TV with a QAM tuner, tune to channel 92-5 to receive My5.2 programming.
Over the Air Viewers
If you receive KFSM over the air, you should already be able to see My5.2 programming on channel 5.2. If not, rescan your TV or converter box to pick up channel 5.2.
How to get My5.2 on your Satellite Receiver:
For DirecTV
You will first need to connect an antenna to the "off-air in" jack on the back of the DirecTV HD receiver, if it has one. If the DirecTV receiver does not have an external antenna jack, you can purchase an accessory (an AM21 box) from DirecTV that will add local over the air channels.
Then, from your remote, go to the system set-up menu and find "scan for local channels," and My5.2 will be automatically added to your program listings.
If you don't know what type of DirecTV receiver you have, calling DirecTV may be the best solution. They will know what equipment you have now, and advise you on how to do the setup. They may also upgrade your equipment for free. Ask for "Customer Service" then "Technical Support" and tell them you want to add your local secondary digital channels to your lineup. For Dish Network
First, you need to verify that you have an antenna jack on your Dish Network receiver. It's probably on the left side of the back of the receiver. Attach an off-air antenna to the antenna "in" connector and then with your remote, go to menu, system setup, local channels, scan locals. My5.2 will be added to your channel lineup after you've completed. Also, you'll need to have subscribed to "locals" in your package. You can go to dishnetwork.com to download instructions, or contact them at 1-888-686-2388.
Cable customers of Arkwest, DiamondNet, Madison County, or Magtel can receive 5.2 as follows:
Arkwest channel: 6
DiamondNet channel: 113
Madison County channel: 15
Magtel channel: 6
Cable customers of Suddenlink, Allegiance, or other cable systems:
Please call your cable provider to see if they carry My5.2. If not, request that they begin carrying My5.2.
